Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to set up a motorized cat window flap using a linear actuator, but right now it’s not behaving how I hoped. It moves too fast, stops abruptly, and sometimes doesn’t go all the way to the right position. I tried changing power setups and adding limit switches, but it still feels rough. I stumbled on this control guide: motion control systems https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/pages/control-system-for-actutor-guide — it explains different control system options and how to adjust speed and positioning. After reading it and tweaking my wiring, it already feels way better. Curious if anyone else had similar issues and how you solved them!

Hey folks! I don’t work with actuators much, but reading threads like this is super helpful even if you’re just into electronics and robotics in general. Little things like jerky movement or overshooting are exactly the kind of practical problems you don’t see in basic tutorials, so it’s cool to read about how people troubleshoot and fix them.
